Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist in medical administrative tasks. Duties: - Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters, including medical history, physical examinations, and treatment plans - Assist healthcare professionals with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records - Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation - Provide support during procedures, including X-rays and medication administration - Monitor and record vital signs of patients - Assist with patient care activities as needed - Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques Requirements: - Previous experience in a medical setting preferred but not required - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient computer skills, including electronic medical record systems - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times - Willingness to learn and take direction from healthcare professionals Please note that all positions at our organization are paid positions, including internships.
